Zen Community Hub

Zen Community Hub is a constituted, not-for-profit community group based in Nottinghamshire. We create accessible opportunities for emotional wellbeing, social connection, personal development and community participation, with a particular focus on reducing isolation and the financial, social and practical barriers that can prevent people from accessing support.

Our work is intended to support local residents and wider communities, including unpaid, foster, adoptive and kinship carers; special guardians; families experiencing stress or isolation; LGBTQ+ people; disabled and neurodivergent people; and community and voluntary groups.

Our developing activities may include mindfulness, relaxation, gentle movement, sound-based wellbeing, creative workshops, support for carers and families, community events, and partnership or commissioned programmes. The availability of individual activities will depend on confirmed funding, venues and partnerships.

We aim to provide welcoming, respectful and inclusive opportunities for people of different backgrounds, identities, abilities and circumstances. Our longer-term ambition is to build partnerships across Nottinghamshire and explore how the Zen Community Hub model could support communities in other parts of the UK.
