About this service
People who spend much of their lives supporting others often have very little protected time for themselves. Caring for the Carer sessions create a realistic, welcoming pause without adding another demand or expectation.
What the experience can include
- Accessible grounding, movement and relaxation
- Mindfulness or sound practices adapted to the group
- Recognition of complex caring roles without requiring personal disclosure
- Practical techniques that can fit around unpredictable lives
Who it is for
Fostering agencies, social services, adoption and kinship teams, SEND organisations, carer networks and community partners.
Location and delivery
Professional commissions from agencies and statutory services are contracted and invoiced through The Zen Rooms. Zen Community Hub may separately deliver appropriate community activity, with funding arrangements kept distinct.
A considered, inclusive approach
Activities are adapted wherever reasonably possible, and you are always encouraged to work within your own comfort. Please share relevant access or sensory requirements when enquiring. Holistic wellbeing services complement, but do not replace, appropriate medical or mental-health care.
